Extra Credit:Limited extra credit is available until 1 week prior to the end of the quarter. E.C. isn't calculated until the end of each quarter. E.C. is not intended to replace ongoing, diligent effort; but is intended to reward hard work. It is possible to raise your grade 1 letter grade at the most. Mrs. Dietrich doesn't give more than 100% on assignments.
Late work: Receives a 20% reduction off the top automatically. Once you've taken the chapter test, Mrs. Dietrich will enter a grade of zero for work that is still missing. After the test a maximum of 50% may be recovered until the end of the quarter. Detention and/or Intervention may be assigned for repeated late work. Mrs. Dietrich expects students to stay on top of assignments via NetClassroom Announcements. Occasionally, there will be directions included in NetClassroom announcements that will translate into rewards for those students who read and complete them :-) It is your responsibility to check the makeup work drawer and NetClassroom after any absence. If in doubt, answer using complete sentences. |
