September- Elections
Friday, Sept. 14th: Announce candidacy to social studies teachers (8th-Aaker, 6th-Carlson, 7th-Dietrich)
Monday, Sept. 17th: final deadline to get on ballot- let Mrs. Dietrich know if you are running to represent your class.
9/17-9/21: AFTER you have Social Studies teachers or Mrs. Zachrison initial your campaign posters, they may be hung in Jackson Hall.
Thursday, Sept. 20th: Submit your campaign speech to your social studies teacher to remain on the ballot.
Friday, Sept. 21st, 1st Period: Speeches & Voting. Results will be announced just before last bell of the day.
October: Homecoming
Oct. 8-12: Dress up days: 'Merica Monday, Pajama Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Decades Thursday, Grover Spirit Friday
Friday, Oct. 12th: MS S'mores 7th & 8th periods in OG Park weather permitting or Grover Grounds if needed.
November: Canstruction & Fill the Dome, Thanksgiving planning
Help teacher team choose MS movie.

Monday, Nov. 18th: MSSC reps join Oak Grove High School student leaders at the FargoDome for "Fill the Dome" area schools event & competition. Reps need parental permission & blue sheets filled out.
December: Christmas preparations
Class meetings to provide info about locker decorating contest.
Friday, December 21: $1 fundraiser: students may wear holiday pjs the day we make blankets for Ronald McDonald House
February: end of third quarter planning, feedback for teachers for school trips
Weekly challenges: sit at a different lunch table for a week, sit by different people at chapel, introduce yourself to an adult staff or faculty member, make an effort to get to know a classmate better!
